Our York Business Clinic will provide free advice and innovative solutions to meet many of your organisation's challenges, goals and projects.
The York Business Clinic is serviced by a range of business students across multiple courses and disciplines, mentored and supervised by our knowledgeable and experienced academics and Business Clinic Director.
We can provide consultancy advice in the following areas:

How we can work together
Students at the York Business Clinic work with our Clinic Director and academics to offer consultancy services.
After initially scoping the project, you can expect students to take a hands on approach to tackling your organisational challenges. This would include:
- Communicating updates and progress reports to your organisation.
- Conducting research on your organisation's behalf to identify SWOTs (strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats).
- Production of a final, tailored report showcasing findings and providing recommendations for improvement.
To provide consultancy services to your business, we will ask that you work with us in the following ways:
- Approving the consultancy brief.
- Providing the support, access and information required to complete the project.
- Being involved in the marketing of the York Business Clinic's report and presentation.
The University will ensure the required level of confidentiality and commercial sensitivity, agreed by your organisation, on a case by case basis.
The York Business Clinic will support both the students, providing appropriate guidance through supervision and feedback as necessary, and your business to ensure mutual success.
