Practical learning

We have adopted an integrative approach to practice education. Ensuring that practice is central to learning requires that we partner with providers what can help you to become an adaptive, reflective practitioner. Yorkshire Ambulance Service NHS Trust, along with other NHS and non-NHS providers partner with the University to assist you in the transfer of theory into practice. This transition starts in the classroom, where you will engage with realistic scenarios and case studies.

The course is supported by a newly built health simulation suite allowing you to safely practice your clinical and interpersonal skills in simulated wards and domestic settings before heading out onto placement in professional settings.
