The structure of the course is set out very well. The lecturers' combined knowledge on the course made my classes easy to understand as they were complementary to each other. Allowing students to openly debate the theory in class, to bounce ideas off of each other, made the classroom experience at York St John feel inclusive and comfortable. York St John has helped me to find a different perspective of life abroad. As I am from Australia, living in the UK for a semester gave me the opportunity to operate in a different social and climatic environment, ultimately improving my interpersonal communication skills. I made the best friends at YSJ and it's an experience I’ll never forget!

The best thing about studying marketing has got to be the wide variety of topics you get to learn about. From creative and social media marketing to finance and data analytics, the course covers a wide range of business disciplines. The level of detail we explore within each of our lectures will be incredibly valuable to our future careers and will give us an in-depth view of what is required in marketing roles. One topic in particular, Consumer Behaviour, was extremely interesting as we learnt of the different attitudes customers have and how we can cater to their needs. This module had psychological aspects to it which fascinated me.
