We offer a range of presentations, workshops and activities designed to support students in exploring their future options and making informed decisions about higher education.

We work with schools and colleges to deliver engaging sessions that can be tailored to the needs of your students, either through visits to our campus or by members of our team delivering activity in your school or college.
Whether you are looking to introduce students to higher education, support them through the university application process, or help them develop the skills and confidence to achieve their goals, we can work with you to create a programme that meets your requirements.
Our activities are aligned to Gatsby Benchmarks and wider careers education objectives. If you have a specific focus in mind, we would be happy to discuss how we can best support your students.
Activities we can deliver
- Introduction to Higher Education: An overview of higher education, including university life, student experiences and the benefits of further study.
- Campus Tours: In groups led by a student ambassador, your students explore our campus and facilities, gaining first-hand experience of university life.
- Student Life: Sessions designed to help students understand what it is like to be a university student, covering academic study, accommodation, societies and support services.
- Applying to University: Guidance on the university application process, including UCAS applications, personal statements and preparing for the next steps.
- Student Finance and Funding: Information on tuition fees, student loans, budgeting and the financial support available to students.
- Transferable Skills: Interactive sessions that explore the skills valued by universities and employers, helping students recognise and develop their own strengths.
- Goals and Aspirations: Activities designed to encourage students to reflect on their future ambitions, build confidence and explore potential pathways.
- Subject Insight and Academic Taster Sessions: Sessions delivered in partnership with our academic schools, giving students an opportunity to explore specific subject areas and experience university-level learning. Please note that subject taster sessions are delivered by academic staff and are scheduled around teaching commitments. As a result, some subject areas may only be available at certain times of the year, and unfortunately not all requests can be accommodated.
