Commuting to York
Not everyone moves away from home to go to university. Many of our students live in the local area and commute to us, saving money while still making the most of everything campus life has to offer.
If you plan on commuting, we have support and advice to help you settle into university life. A dedicated contact for commuting students can answer your questions and discuss travel options with you.
While you might think you've had plenty of the student experiences in the area, you haven't yet experienced life as a York St John University student. When you join us, you'll discover a whole new part of the city.
