Fine Art, Illustration and Photography

At York St John University, we foster your creativity through our diverse range of facilities, as well as through the support of a team of experienced technicians. We have a range of studio spaces and specialist workshops, such as a print room, and ceramics, metal, and wood workshops. Our students have access to a dedicated Mac Suite, which has a range of the latest software as well as large-format printing. We also have a photography studio, dark rooms and a photography store, which includes leading brand equipment.

As part of these courses, you can undertake a professional project with an organisation relevant to your practice and interest. This gives you the opportunity to develop networking skills and manage projects with specific parameters and timelines.
