Winter Open Day

Our Winter Open Day is a great opportunity for prospective undergraduate and postgraduate students to get to know our University. Hear from key teams including Accommodation, Finance, and Admissions, tour our campus, speak to academics about our undergraduate and postgraduate courses at our information drop-ins, and then finish the day with a walking tour to York's Christmas markets. 

This event will be taking place on campus from 11.00am to 2.00pm, with sign in from 10.45am. This year we are also offering a quiet hour at the start of the day, where you are welcome to arrive early on campus from 10.00am for a more relaxed start, complete with refreshments, crafts and early access to our teams.

Please note that our Winter Open Day is a smaller, more relaxed Open Day, so specific subject talks will not be taking place at this event. Academic staff for both undergraduate and postgraduate courses will instead be available to speak to at drop-in stands. Our programme of talks, tours and drop-ins will be available several weeks before the event to help you plan your day.

This year we will also be offering a personal statement drop-in for undergraduate applicants. Our admissions team will be available at the drop-in to provide feedback on personal statements ahead of the UCAS application deadline in January.
