I am a Senior Lecturer teaching, supervising and examining research at undergraduate, postgraduate and PhD levels. I have PGR senior supervisor status.
I am a Fellow of the Higher Education Academy.
I enjoy supporting clinicians in evaluating research findings to influence their own professional practice.
I am involved in university quality assurance processes such as the scrutiny and validation of new degrees and I am a member of the School Quality Panel.
I have held External Examiner appointments at the University of East Anglia and Oxford Brookes University (School of Health and Social Care: MSc/PG Dip/PG Cert. Rehabilitation).

I subsequently supervised a PhD on the impact of working with eating disordered clients on the counsellor's embodied subjectivity, and currently supervise PhD, EdD and Masters research degree students in areas of Advanced Clinical Practice, Imposter Syndrome, Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder and Paramedic Education, Sport and Disability, Preceptorship for Allied Health Professionals, and Simulated Professional Practice.
My own current research interests relate to Continuing Professional Development for Allied Health Professionals and Health Coaching.
