I joined York St John University in April 2026 as part of the Health and Care Research and Evaluation Service within the Institute for Health and Care Improvement. My research focuses on healthcare inequalities, particularly cancer care and access to services in coastal communities.
My work uses mixed-methods approaches to explore patient experiences, health outcomes, and barriers to care. I have experience in quantitative and qualitative analysis, systematic reviews, stakeholder engagement, and geographical health research. Alongside my doctoral research, I have worked on a range of interdisciplinary health research projects. My research interests include cancer inequalities, coastal health, patient experience, and access to healthcare services.
