Library access for Alumni and members of the public
Find out how you can access the resources available to York St John Alumni, SCONUL borrowers from other institutions and to external borrowers.
Your access at a glance
We welcome alumni and visitors to make use of our library spaces and resources on our York Campus.
Your access to York St John University Library depends on your relationship with the University.
- Alumni (former York St John students): You can continue to use the library after you graduate, including access to study spaces and some services.
- SCONUL borrowers from other institutions: You can visit the library for study and apply for borrowing privileges via registration at your home institution.
- Members of the public: You can visit the library for study and reference use of materials.
When the Library Services desk is closed you will need a valid York St John Library membership card to use the building. Please ask at the desk for more information.
