The International Conference on Policies and Parental Support provides an international platform for academics, practitioners, consultants, scholars, researchers and policymakers with diverse background and experiences to present their papers, engage in expert discussions, get feedback and network with people from different countries.
Working parents form a significant proportion of the labour market. Different policies - legal and social - have an impact on working parents' work, careers, financial situation, family relationship, wellbeing, and more.
This conference provides a unique opportunity for experts from diverse backgrounds and disciplines to share research and discussion on parental support.
Contributions are invited from all areas with an impact on parental support such as Law; Sociology; Psychology; Police Studies, Social Sciences, Health and Social Care, Human Resource Management; and Gender Studies.
Research students are encouraged to present their research proposal, literature review or research findings. Organisations with good parental support or family friendly rights are encouraged to attend to share best practices.
Abstracts will be peer reviewed and evaluated based on originality, research depth, accuracy and relevance to the conference themes and topics. Poster presentations are welcomed.
A conference dinner and networking event will take place on the 10 July 2025 depending on numbers.
