Degree Apprenticeships
Work-based, vocationally-driven courses

York St John University works with employers to co-design our apprenticeship programmes and delivery models to ensure these fit industry needs.
Offering multiple intake points throughout the year, delivered from both our York and London campuses, we have a growing portfolio of national businesses using our programmes to support their talent acquisition and to upskill their workforce.
Apprentices will benefit from this cutting-edge and highly relevant training during your work-based degree apprenticeship; all underpinned by the rigorous subject knowledge of a degree qualification. Apprentices will typically work full time and study part time. Our degree apprenticeship courses will test your academic learning and your workplace capabilities, whilst ensuring that you are offered industry-specific training and support throughout your learning.
You will already be in employment prior to starting a degree apprenticeship and will not have to pay course fees.
Our degree apprenticeships provide the opportunity to gain a degree whilst getting valuable workplace experience.

For the apprentice – this means you are earning while you are learning.
And for the employer - this means immediate benefits to your business as employees develop their skills and apply their contextualised learning in the workplace.
