Degree apprenticeships

Work-based, vocationally-driven courses.

We work with employers to co-design our apprenticeship programmes and delivery models. This is to make sure they fit industry needs.

We offer intake points throughout the year, delivered from both our York and London campuses. A growing portfolio of national businesses use our courses to support their talent acquisition and upskill their workforce.

Our apprentices get cutting-edge and relevant training during a work-based degree apprenticeship. All apprenticeships are underpinned by the rigorous subject knowledge of a degree qualification.

As an apprentice, you will typically work full time and study part time. Our degree apprenticeship courses test academic learning and workplace capabilities. We offer industry-specific training and support throughout your learning. You will already be in employment before starting a degree apprenticeship. You will not have to pay course fees.

Our degree apprenticeships let you gain a degree while getting valuable workplace experience.

For the apprentice, this means you are earning while you are learning.

And for the employer, this means immediate benefits to your business. Employees develop their skills and apply their contextualised learning in the workplace.

Our degree apprenticeships

  • 16 months plus up to 6 months for End Point Assessment (EPA)
  • Intakes in February and October from York and London campuses
  • Blended learning with scheduled on-campus workshops throughout the year
  • Suitable for Directors and Senior Managers in the private, public and third sectors
  • Graduate with both a Postgraduate Certificate and Postgraduate Diploma in Business Administration
  • Master of Business Administration (MBA) available as a 6-month add-on to those who complete the apprenticeship

It is a requirement for all apprentices to have the equivalent of a GCSE grade C/4 or above in Maths and English before their End Point Assessment process begins.

For most of our apprenticeships we support this on programme. However, due to the short length and demanding nature of this programme we ask that Senior Leader Apprenticeship applicants get these qualifications prior to onboarding with us.

You can do this through any local or online adult learning provider, and courses are fully funded for eligible candidates. We use Runway training, who offer a very flexible approach and can deliver all their teaching online at a pace that suits your needs.
