The Postgraduate Research School Conference is the free annual conference organised by the Research Office.

The Annual Postgraduate Research School Conference (previously Eat. Sleep. Research. Repeat.) aims to provide a collaborative and stimulating environment for the York St John researcher community to learn from others and present their own researcher journeys and experiences.

The conference includes:

  • Keynote speaker
  • Research case studies and presentations
  • Research posters
  • Networking opportunities
  • Information and exhibits

Call for contributions 2024

The Postgraduate Research School team are excited to announce that our Annual Postgraduate Research School Conference is taking place on Wednesday 9 October 2024.

This is a great opportunity to present your research at a university-level conference to the postgradute research (PGR) community and academic staff in an interdisciplinary setting. We are keen to see a range of different contributions to the conference, including presentations, posters, workshops and multi-speaker panels. We look forward to receiving your proposals!

The conference will be taking place at the Citadel, located across the road from campus, on Gillygate at The Citadel

Call for contributions closes on Friday 30 August 2024.

The form will ask for the following:

  • Information about yourself, including your programme
  • The format of your contribution
  • Title
  • Abstract (Maximum 250 words) - we recommend you prepare this before completing the form and copy and paste it directly into the answer box
  • Any accessibility requirements or equipment needed on the day
