York St John University has 2 campuses in the UK. Our main campus is in the city of York, and our second campus is in England's capital city, London.

We offer different courses at each of our campuses. Our York campus offers undergraduate degrees, short courses, and a range of postgraduate degrees. Our London campus offers primarily postgraduate degrees with a selection of top-up undergraduate courses.

Choosing York campus

Our York campus is full of historic buildings and old English charm. We combine modern, high-quality teaching with a picturesque setting.

The city of York is located around 2 hours away from London by train, and has a population of around 200,000 people. It is a popular destination for tourists and hosts many cultural events, historic sites and museums. Our campus is just outside the medieval city walls and has a view of the beautiful York Minster cathedral.

If you study at our York campus:

You can choose between a range of undergraduate and postgraduate degrees
You will be guaranteed University accommodation for your first year of an undergraduate degree
You will join a community of around 7,000 students and staff based in York city centre

Choosing London campus

Our London campus offers postgraduate degrees focused on business, computing, and data science.

The campus is located in the east of the city, close to East India Docklands Light Railway (DLR) station. It is set in a diverse area close to Canary Wharf and is part of a hub of creative, technology, and start up businesses. The local area includes shops, cafes, gyms, bars, restaurants, a nursery and outdoor social areas. It's an ideal location for students looking to further their career skills in the busy heart of England's capital.

You will live in private accommodation
You will join a community of around 600 students and staff based at our London campus
