Yorkshire and Humber Infant Feeding Awards Evening 2027
6.00 PM to 10.00 PM
Fri 26 February, 2027
Join us for an awards evening with dinner, at Mercure York Fairfield Manor.
The aim of this event is to celebrate individuals and organisations that have been exceptional in supporting women through the life critical stage of feeding their babies when they were born. This award would help to normalise discussions around infant feeding in the society.
Infant feeding continues to be an important stage of a baby’s life and the parents. Whether the mother is breastfeeding, formula feeding or a combination of both, education and physical support is critical. Parents need education to understand the benefits, challenges and support available for all types of feeding methods. Critical stages such as pregnancy and immediately after birth, and mothers’ personal circumstances, determines how they feed their baby. Building in support for mothers at all stages would ensure that they make informed decisions.
How we feed our baby may have an impact on the mother and baby’s health, the environment, the mothers career progression and the economy. So, we are privileged to have you join us in celebrating all the nominees and the winners.
The event will feature inspiring speakers, prestigious awards, a delightful three-course meal, networking, and dancing with a DJ. The evening will commence at 18:00, and end by 22:00.
