Welcome to the Library

This page is for students on a York St John University programme studying at franchise partner institutions.

As a York St John student you have access to university library services, in addition to your home institution library services, to enhance and help you with your studies. This page is designed to make it easy for you to find additional library resources and learning support to help you do well in your assignments and exams.

Getting started

You will need your York St John University student IT account (your York St John University email and password) to access our library resources. You will have been asked to set up this as part of the registration process with York St John. Our Student Hub has a range of help pages for you to consult if you have a query about your IT account. 

Once you have activated your IT account and have your credentials you will be able to access relevant additional online library resources through our online library. The resources you can access will be dependent on your course.

Doctorate of Counselling Psychology

Students at franchise partners enrolled on our Doctorate in Counselling Psychology programme can access a curated selection of materials through our Franchise Counselling & Psychology Resources.

We also have arrangements in place for you to access PsycArticles (an APA full text resource). To access PsycArticles content:

• Register your personal email address with Library and Learning Services
• Once your registration has been confirmed with APA you will be sent a link to access content

Business Management, DBA and MBA

Students at franchise partners enrolled on our Business Management BA (Hons), DBA, and MBA programmes can access a curated selection of materials through our Franchise Business Resources.

Support for your learning

Our Library, Study and Digital Skills resources are self-guided resources which are available to you to help you with your study skills. These are available to you in addition to support resources provided by your local franchise partner institution.
