I am currently a Lecturer in Business Management at York St John University, where I also serve as Deputy Programme Director and Lead of the Small Business Innovation and Transformation (SBIT) Research Group. I hold two PhDs: one in Entrepreneurship, Innovation and Strategy, specialising in Digital Innovation and Transformation, from Northumbria University, UK, and another in Management (Accounting and Finance). I am a Fellow of the Higher Education Academy (FHEA) and a Certified Management & Business Educator (CMBE), with over ten years of teaching and academic research experience across the UK and internationally. I also bring more than eight years of industry and consultancy experience in business, finance, audit and management. My interdisciplinary research focuses on the intersection of technology and management, particularly digital innovation and transformation, artificial intelligence and responsible AI, fintech, sustainability, digital marketing, and small business innovation. My work examines how emerging technologies reshape organisations, managerial decision-making, governance and sustainable business practices. I am actively pursuing research funding opportunities and welcome collaboration on interdisciplinary projects, as well as opportunities to supervise PhD students working in related areas.
At York St John University, London Campus, I teach across a range of modules within the MSc International Project Management, MSc Digital Marketing, MBA and MSc Hospitality and Tourism Management programmes.
I have served as Module Director for Digital Change, Innovation and Disruption. I am currently the Module Director for Tourism and Hospitality Futures, with a strong emphasis on technological innovation, digital transformation, and AI, and Deputy Module Director for Contemporary Digital and Data Skills.
My research is multidisciplinary, primarily focusing on emerging technology adoption including AI and Blockchain, top management, digital transformation, sustainability development, social digital innovation, digital health, performance measurement, project risk and investment analysis, and brand management.
