I am currently a Lecturer in Business Management at York St John University. I hold two PhDs: one in Entrepreneurship, Innovation, and Strategy (Digital Innovation and Transformation) from Northumbria University, UK, and another in Management (Accounting and Finance). I have over ten years of lecturing and academic research experience across the United Kingdom, Malaysia, Indonesia, and other international contexts. I am a Fellow of the Higher Education Academy (FHEA) and a Certified Management & Business Educator (CMBE). Additionally, I have more than eight years of industry and consultancy experience in business and management. My research interests span various areas within business and management, with an interdisciplinary focus on digital innovation and transformation, sustainability, fintech, leadership, digital marketing and project analysis. I am actively pursuing research funding opportunities and welcome collaboration on interdisciplinary projects, as well as supervising PhD students in related areas.
At York St John University, London Campus, I teach varied modules in the MSc International Project Management programme and MSc Digital Marketing and the MBA business administration programme.
I am the Module Director for Digital Change, Innovation and Disruption and the Deputy Module Director for Contemporary Digital and Data Skills.
My research is multidisciplinary, primarily focusing on emerging technology adoption including AI and Blockchain, top management, digital transformation, sustainability development, social digital innovation, digital health, performance measurement, project risk and investment analysis, and brand management.
