Supervised by Professor Matthew Reason and Professor Divine Charura and working in collaboration with serving and former Military Personnel my PhD research will explore co productions and creative outcomes around theatre and performance and their impact on transition and recovery from trauma.
I founded the Soldiers’ Arts Academy which has created a model of applied therapeutic theatre where members of the Armed Forces Community can interact with the arts. Drawing on my work in theatre, film, dance and TV my PhD research will explore the impact of theatre on narrative change for participants and audiences.
