I am the Alumni Relations and Data Officer at York St John University and a Casual Academic in the School of Humanities.

In my Alumni role, I am the first point of contact for alumni enquiries. My key responsibilities include: managing and maintaining the alumni and fundraising database, running alumni networking events, and increasing alumni engagement across the Academic Schools. If you have any general queries, or want to discuss sharing your journey with alumni and current students, please contact me.

I am also a PhD student researching women's indie music memoirs and Casual Academic in the School of Humanities. My research interests include: autobiographical studies, music, memory, and psychogeography. Since 2022, I have taught across undergraduate modules in Creative Writing, English Literature, and Film and Media Studies.

I mostly teach Film and Media Studies and I have taught on the following modules:

  • MED5002M Music and Media
  • MED5003M Visual Cultures

I have previously taught on the following English Literature and Creative Writing modules:

Recent publications

I gained my AFHEA in July 2025 and I am currently working towards FHEA.

I am currently a member of the Hauntology and Spectrality Research Group, Interdisciplinary Witches Research Group, and Music, Memory and Narrative Research Group.

Since 2022, I have been the creative director for the Alumni Journeys webinar series.

In 2018, I was the winner of the Wilko Johnson Writing Award.
