- Post graduate certificate in Teaching and learning in Higher education
- Associate member of the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants

After doing a degree in Accounting, I trained as a management accountant with British Rail and worked in internal audit, financial accounting and management accounting. I then moved into education and spent nearly 20 years teaching Accounting at York College before joining York St John University in 2008.
I have taught across a very wide range of topics related to accounting and finance, including Management Accounting, Financial Accounting, and Corporate Finance.
Member of the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants.
