I support the Pro Vice Chancellor (Research and International), Associate Pro Vice Chancellor for Research, Head of the Research Office, and academic staff across all Schools, Departments and London Campus in aspects of the University’s research support activities for the development of its research culture and environment. This includes assisting in the delivery of Research Office and School research strategies and fulfilment of objectives embedded within the University’s Framework for Research and Innovation in alignment with the Research Excellence Framework (REF).
This includes responsibility for the delivery of the staff research Continuous Professional Development (CPD) programme and monitoring engagement and impact of these activities on staff and postgraduate researchers (PGRs). I work with collaborative partners, including a range of internal and external facilitators on aspects of research development. I also coordinate the Students as Researchers scheme, where staff and students work together on a research project and organise a range of research events and conferences such as the annual ethics conference, The Only Way Is Ethics, and research group networking events.
