I am the Programme Lead for the Project Management MSc, and the Project Management Degree Apprenticeship.
I joined the Business School in 2021 after completing my PhD at the University of Huddersfield. During my time at Huddersfield, I taught on and was Course Leader for the undergraduate Logistics and Supply Chain Suite of courses, and the MSc in Project Management and Operations Management. Prior to that I had a successful career in the NHS, leading and working on strategic change projects. I gained experience of all areas of healthcare management having successfully redesigned patient pathways of care across the Manchester, York, Leeds, Bradford, and Airedale Health Economies.
Knowledge transfer and project management has always been of interest to me, I have led many successful Knowledge Transfer Partnerships and was awarded the Economic and Social Research Council (ESRC) Knowledge Transfer Partnership prize for the Best Application of Social or Management Science, as well as the Technology Strategy Board (TSB) Best Partnership Award, North East England. These awards recognise the most successful innovation-led research partnerships.

My PhD research investigated Systems of Innovation for the NHS in England.
I have been involved in a number of successful research and Knowledge Transfer Projects and am currently looking for develop more. My core research areas include:

I am a Fellow of the Higher Education Academy.
