I am a lecturer in Business Management at York St John University, who usually teaches at postgraduate level. I specialise in teaching about research methods and research project management, leading modules within the departmental MRes and MSc programmes.
I hold a PhD from University of Stirling, having graduated from the University of York with a BA (Hons) and MA. My educational background was within sociology. Prior to working at York St John, I held a number of research posts at Heriot-Watt University, University College London and the University of Hull.
My research interests include employment, career management, social media and EDI. Outside of academia, I have worked in the Scottish public sector in education and career guidance.
