I am a HEA Senior Fellow (2013) and lead York St John's AHE accredited institutional Fellowship scheme. As an senior academic developer, I play a key role in a wide range of strategic projects and initiatives across our campuses in York and London, focusing on professional recognition, professional development, inclusive education and enhancing academic quality and standards through a range of project work. My work has also taken me internationally, with contributions to educational development in Rwanda, Zambia, Vietnam, Bahrain and the USA.

With extensive experience as an external examiner, I have supported several Postgraduate Certificates in Teaching and Learning, as well as AdvanceHE-accredited Fellowship schemes. Since 2021, I have been a reviewer for AdvanceHE Direct submissions, further supporting professional standards in higher education on an international scale. Currently, I serve as an external reviewer for Fellowship schemes at UWE Bristol and the Royal Central School of Speech and Drama.

My work reflects a strong commitment to improving teaching and learning, driving institutional development, and supporting educators in achieving professional excellence.
