I am a lecturer in Business Management at York St John University, UK. I received my postgraduate degree in strategic management from the University of Bradford, UK, and a PhD in strategic human resource management from the University of Huddersfield, UK. I have previously worked at the University of Huddersfield, Coventry University, and Middlesex University, UK. My research interests centre on contextual HRM, leadership, people analytics and sustainability, primarily in SMEs.

Since completing my PhD in October 2018, I have pursued a dynamic research agenda focused on institutional perspectives in HRM, leadership, and operational management, particularly within SMEs. My work has been published in leading journals such as the International Journal of Hospitality Management (3*), Industrial Marketing Management (3*), and the Asia Pacific Journal of HR (2*), among others, with two additional manuscripts currently under review in ABS 3* outlets. I regularly contribute as a reviewer for journals like IJHM, Journal of Small Business Management, and Employee Relations, supporting the advancement of rigorous scholarship.
