I am currently serve as Deputy Associate Dean, Business and Health Studies at YSJ London Campus. I am a global public health professional with 15 years of experience across academia, research, applied practice, and leadership. I have held academic and research positions in diverse higher education settings - in India, South Africa and United Kingdom - and engaging with multicultural and multidisciplinary environments.
My current portfolio spans teaching, research, and a range of strategic university initiatives. Within the Business, Management, and Health Studies department (at YSJ London), I am currently working as a Senior Lecturer (in Public Health). I also serve as Programme Director for the MSc in Public Health. I also serve as the Unit of Assessment Lead (UoA) for Public Health and lead the ‘Global and Public Health’ Research Group, where I drive strategic priorities and promote research excellence.
I currently teach on the MSc Public Health and MSc Global Healthcare Management programs, where I lead the Applied Research Project module for health-related courses. In addition, I contribute to several other modules. If you’re enrolled in either of these programs, you’ll definitely attend one of my sessions!
My research interest includes: public health, global health, health systems, health policy, health professionals training using VR, microplastics, aging population, and much more.
