Staff Profile

Ed Nicholson

Physiotherapy Lecturer

I achieved a first class honours degree in Physiotherapy from York St John University in 2012.  Since that time I have been working as a Musculoskeletal Physiotherapist in both NHS and private settings.  This role required me to assess an manage patients with a variety of MSK conditions. In the last 2 years, prior to joining St John's University, I worked as a Specialist Pain Physiotherapist at York Hospital's Pain Management Clinic.  As part of this role I worked as part of a multi-disciplinary team assessing and managing patients with complex needs.  In my role as a Senior Physiotherapist in the NHS I was involved in the ongoing education and support of other members of staff and students.
