I joined the ITT team at York St John University in April 2022. Prior to that I was a teacher for 17 years and most recently an Assistant Headteacher at a primary school in North Yorkshire.
During my teaching career I experienced teaching and leading both key stages and have coordinated many curriculum subjects. More recently I led computing across a large Multi Academy Trust as well as well as working as part of a school-to-school support team who developed teaching and learning in struggling schools. I have completed my National Professional Qualification for Headship.
Since joining York St John University I have become a Fellow of the Higher Education Academy and lead computing for the ITE team.
