Dr Sahar Ahmadzadeh

I am an Assistant Professor (Lecturer), module lead and an investigator at the Departments of Computer Science/Data Science at York St John's University, London campus.

I have an experience of involvement in research projects at several esteemed institutions.

I achieved my Ph.D. in Dec 2017. In 2018, I served as Wireless Sensor Development Engineer (KTP associate) at the University of Bolton, where I achieved funding from Innovate UK. Additionally, from 2020 until 2023 I held positions as a Senior Research Associate at the University of East Anglia and a Research Fellow at the University of Bedfordshire. My research has been published in prestigious journals such as IEEE ACCESS, IEEE Transactions, and presented at renowned IEEE conferences. These contributions have enabled me to contribute to the advancement of knowledge in my field.

Recognizing the importance of effective leadership and management, I have pursued professional development in this area. In 2021 I obtained a Chartered Management Institute (CMI) level 5 certificate in management and leadership, equipping me with valuable skills to lead and coordinate research projects successfully.

Also, in recognition of my dedication to teaching, I has honoured as a fellow of Higher Education Academy in the UK.

With her multidisciplinary background, research expertise, and teaching experience, I continue to contribute to the academic community, mentor aspiring researchers, and inspire students in the field of computer science.
