Teaching
I have taught across BSc, apprenticeships and MSc Paramedic programmes as well as being a fellow of FHEA. I have also been instrumental in forging links with practice partners and educators to ensure that practice placements were beneficial to the students and the partner agencies.
Research
I have undertaken research into Paramedics in Social Care (PISCES) with NHSE and in collaboration with the University of Bradford which I have submitted for publication. I was also a member of the expert panel for the LEAP Culture Change conference as well as running a workshop on using simulation as placement for healthcare students. I have a strong interest in simulation as well as the wellbeing of healthcare professionals and intend to undertake a PhD in the near future looking into one of these areas.
