Vivien Jaksics

Originally from Budapest, Hungary, I now live in Knaresborough after time in Sheffield and Leeds. My career in higher education began as a Student Ambassador during my Psychology BSc, sparking a passion for supporting students that continues in my current role as Student Ambassador Coordinator within the Student Recruitment and Widening Participation department. I oversee the Student Ambassador programme, including recruitment, training, and continuous support, helping ambassadors develop skills and confidence. One of the best parts of my job is creating a close-knit community of Student Ambassadors and celebrating their achievements at the annual Student Ambassador Awards.

I am not only working at the university but also studying towards my Project Management Apprenticeship Degree. Outside of work, I enjoy exploring new cuisines, have a keen interest in other cultures, love dancing, and going on trips with my family.
