Vivien Jaksics

I am originally from Hungary (Budapest) but used to live in Sheffield, Leeds and now in beautiful Knaresborough. During my Psychology BSc studies, I was a Student Ambassador. That opened up my career in higher education and I stayed the sector ever since. In the future, I intend to continue my studies at York St John to complete a master's degree in HR and Business Management.

In my current role as an Ambassador Coordinator, my job is to recruit and look after all our lovely Student Ambassadors, ensuring they have a fulfilling and meaningful experience while working in our team. The best part of my job is seeing them develop their skills, becoming more and more confident in their role. In addition to this, I also provide support to the Widening Participation and Student Recruitment team.

In my free time, I volunteer as a Trustee for my local toy library where we host regular play sessions for young children and maintain a sustainable toy swapping scheme.
