I teach Economics at York St John, specialising in a variety of applied economics courses, and prioritising engaging and innovative pedagogy. I have experience teaching a wide range of courses from within Economics, and beyond. These have included International Trade, Political Economy, Microeconomics, Digital Economics, Financial Systems and Statistics.
My current research interests lie in pedagogy and AI, with past research including work on International Trade, Public Choice and International Development.
I completed my undergraduate degree in Economics at the University of Sheffield, before completing my Masters and PhD at the University of Leicester. I have previously worked at the University of Leicester, University of Birmingham, De Montfort University and City St George's University, with experience both as a teacher, researcher, programme leader and manager. I have also worked on projects for leading AI companies to improve future AI models.
