Contact details

I am a Lecturer in International Business and Business Management at York St John University, where I joined in 2026. Prior to this, I worked as a postdoctoral researcher at King’s Business School, King’s College London, and The Productivity Institute. My research focuses on how digital transformation in manufacturing can enhance productivity, particularly through collaboration between manufacturing firms and digital technology providers. This work has contributed to the renewal of major research funding from the ESRC (through The Productivity Institute) and has been presented at leading international conferences, including the Academy of Management.

I completed my PhD in Management (International Business and Strategy) at the University of Sheffield. My doctoral research examined how emerging market multinational enterprises (EMNEs) overcome the liability of outsidership by building relationships with key stakeholders in developed markets to achieve competitive advantage. This work was shortlisted for the Best Dissertation Award at the AIB UKI Conference 2024.

Alongside my research, I have extensive teaching experience across UK higher education. I have taught undergraduate and postgraduate modules in International Business, Strategy, Management and Marketing Management, and have supervised postgraduate taught (PGT) and MBA capstone projects. My teaching is research-led and aims to connect students with real-world business challenges.
