Using the library
You can borrow up to five items at any one time. All loanable and eligible items are available for an initial two-week period – see our borrowing details for further information.
Please take particular care to note an item's due date of return around University vacations and closure dates, as this may affect the usual loan period.
Click and Collect
If you wish to access an item please use our click and collect service. If you need any help using our catalogue, please speak to a member of the Library staff at the Service Desk on the Ground Floor of the Library.
Fines are payable for items returned late. You can continue to borrow if your fines remain below £10; however, fines of £10 or above will prevent borrowing. Fines are charged at £1.00 per day for books. Emails are sent out before due dates are reached to remind you when items are due for return.
