Using the library
Registered Alumni and members of the public can borrow up to 5 items at any one time. All loanable and eligible items are available for an initial 2 week period. See our borrowing details for further information.
Please take particular care to note an item's due date of return around University vacations and closure dates, as this may affect the usual loan period.
Fines are payable for items returned late. You can continue to borrow if your fines remain below £10. However, fines of £10 or above will prevent borrowing.
Fines are charged at £1.00 per day for books. Emails are sent out before due dates are reached to remind you when items are due for return.
You can pay fines by visiting the Information Services desk in person or by paying online.
