Lecturer in Business Management

Qualifications:

PhD (The University of Edinburgh)

MSc (Bayes Business School)

The primary impetus across my doctoral research efforts is social innovations that aim to create community impact. I focused specifically on governance structure, strategic management, and crisis management.

Current collaborative research projects include studies of internal governance of civil society organizations (the emergence of community-based public space), external governance of civil society organizations (how civil society organizations responded to the first Covid-19 lockdown in Edinburgh), and societal level of governance (adapted Ostrom’s design principles of polycentric governance in the context of urban commons). Papers from this research agenda have been published at the European Group for Organizational Studies.
