Emotion resources

This research series is led by Dr Stephanie Petty and focuses on helping others to understand and manage their emotions.

The resources on this page are free to use.

Below you will find a collection of emotional wellbeing resources. They can be thought of as self-help, wellbeing resources that you can use personally, or with people you work with. They are designed by many different people, including autistic people, mental health clinicians, and researchers. Neurodivergent people have many different experiences, challenges, and identities. Please consider what works for you.

The following wellbeing card pack, worksheets and loneliness guide have been created to build a shared understanding of neurodiversity in society and increase inclusion and belonging.

They are based on research carried out by Dr Stephanie Petty, Chartered Clinical Psychologist and Associate Professor, and colleagues.
