ID card images
When you set up your IT account you will have the option to upload a photograph for your ID card.
The photograph must meet certain requirements. If we receive an unsuitable photo it will be rejected and you will be asked to send a new one, which could lead to a delay in your card being printed. Please review the guidance below to make sure your image is suitable.
If you have any questions please get in touch with the Enrolment team who will be happy to help: enrolment@yorksj.ac.uk.
Suitable images
Your photo should be similar in style to a passport photo - but you are allowed to smile!
Your photo should:
- Be a recent image in full colour
- Show only you in the photo (no other people or pets)
- Clearly show your face and eyes
- Show you facing forwards
- Be taken against a plain background
- Be in JPEG format, at least 300px by 300px in size
This is an example of a suitable ID card image.
