Module spotlight: Religion, gender and sexuality

Gender and sexuality have long been interrogated and discussed by feminist scholars, and these themes are pervasive in current public debates concerning trans rights and non-binary status. Sexuality has long been a sticking point for faith groups, with women’s rights and same-sex marriage coming into conflict with religious hierarchies, doctrines and traditions. On this module you will explore the complex intersections between feminist philosophy, theology and ethics.
