I studied for an MSc in Human Resource Management at Brunel University in London, which I completed in 2012 with distinction. Following this, I pursued and obtained a PhD degree from the University of St.Gallen (Switzerland) in the field of Management with a principal focus on how top managers act based on their values and perform on behalf of the organization, which I completed in 2019. In the past, I have successfully engaged in both research and teaching in different areas within the field of Management. My research has an interdisciplinary approach. I have presented some of my work at international conferences including the Academy of Management (AOM), the European Academy of Management (EURAM) & in workshops organized by the European Institute of Advanced Management Studies. My research has received several awards and nominations. My research has been published in outlets such as the Journal of Management Studies (ABS4*) and the Long-Range Planning (ABS3*).

Within these areas, I have collaborations on ongoing research with colleagues from various Universities. I joined York St John University in September 2022, where I am a Senior Lecturer in Management and act as the Lead for the MBA in Global Healthcare Management.
I have gained teaching experience in the field of management by teaching classes mainly at the MSc level. My teaching has captured a variety of topics.
Currently, I teach modules at postgraduate level and 3rd year degree apprenticeship. This includes the following modules:

- Global Business Issues
- Organisational Strategy and Decision Making
At postgraduate level, I currently supervise 15 capstone projects.
I am an active researcher, and a member of the People in Employment Settings (PiES) research group at York St John University. The main focus of my research to date has been within the field of corporate governance and CEO succession. In particular, I focus on how the ideology of CEOs and executives are influencing their decisions for the organization as well as organizational actions and outcomes. I am also interested in the field of diversity in teams and equality and inclusion, and have received doctoral training in the areas of strategy and international business. My work has been accepted or published in several outlets including Journal of Management Studies (ABS4*) and Long Range Planning (ABS3*). I have presented my research at international conferences and also been invited to discuss my work at institutions in Europe.
I have presented at international conferences including the Academy of Management (AOM), the European Academy of Management (EURAM) and Top Management Team (TMT), where my research has received several awards and nominations. I am a member of the People in Employment Settings (PiES) research group at York St John University. I have been invited to peer-review articles for journals including LRP as well as EURAM & AOM conferences. I have also acted as a researcher in applied projects with companies such as Helvetia, Roche Pharmaceuticals, SBB and Raiffeisen Bank Switzerland.
