I am an educator, interior designer and illustrator. I have over 20 years industry experience as an interior designer and visualiser since graduating from The London College of Printing in 1997, having previously worked as a graphic designer and medical/technical illustrator. My love of retail has never diminished and I have worked extensively on retail and commercial projects both in the UK and abroad. Award winning work includes Retail Interiors Best Small Store award for SOHO - Ann Summers (2001) and Design Week Retail Innovation award-winning 'Walking Windows' campaign for fashion retailer New Look (2006).

Design for Theatre, Film and Television has also long been a passion and my work includes several film and television credits such as Dance for the Camera (‘Drip - a Narcissistic Love Story’, BBC2 1994), The South Bank Show on Stevie Wonder (ITV 2007), and feature films such as ‘Prime Contact’ (2015) and ‘Plastic Toys’ (2017). I have also worked extensively as an architectural perspective artist and was proud to be elected member of the Association of Architectural Illustrators in 2010. Recent commissions include artist’s impressions of the new ‘Campus Heart’ project for Teesside University, Middlesbrough in 2014.

In recent years I have worked as a freelance design consultant for a variety of long standing clients, specialising in creative pitch work. Projects have ranged from edgy residential, retail, event and bar design to large scale office fit out projects, including offices for Tiger Aspect, Ubisoft, Real D, Creston, Millennial Media and many more.

I have been helping others to find their own creative voice, as an educator in both Further and Higher education for the past 10 years. My specialty is the teaching of design drawing, which I consider to be the most immediate, responsive and persuasive of all design tools.
