I am an Academic Associate and Doctoral Researcher in Psychology at York St John University. My research focuses on how we learn and remember new spoken words. More specifically, I am interested in how our memory for a word’s meaning interacts with our memory for its sound pattern, and how this affects the stability of new phonological representations.
I completed my MSc in Psychology at the University of Exeter in 2023 where my research used eye-tracking methods investigate whether sleep changes the nature of memory representations of newly acquired spoken words.
