Suzanne Lane

I am a part time, distance learner, postgraduate researcher in the School of Education, Language and Psychology.

I work full time as a Special Educational Needs and Disability Coordinator (SENDCO), working mainly in the secondary education sector. I have worked as a teacher for nearly 30 years in many locations throughout Yorkshire, but am currently working in central London in an independent all-through school. I am a specialist dyslexia teacher and assessor but have taught various subjects as a mainstream teacher, including Psychology and Information Technology.

I am now very much interested in supporting my fellow SENDCOs and I am part of many communities of practice. My current research is focused on the working lives of SENDCOs.
