About us

Explore our vision, mission, key activities, and our people.

Widening health inequalities, an ageing population, and a health service under increasing pressure.

There has never been a more important time for innovative work to tackle the multiple issues facing health and social care in the UK today.

Launched in 2023, the Institute for Health and Care Improvement brings together academics from across the University to rise to this challenge of finding solutions.

By collaborating in this way, we aim to influence decision-makers with evidence and research to inspire change as we navigate the health challenges of the modern world.
