Access our wellbeing and welfare services for support during your studies.
It is normal to need some support during your time at university.
Our Wellbeing and Welfare services are here to help with the challenges you may face during your student life. You can talk to our experienced teams, 1 to 1, about your concerns or browse our range of resources to find further support.
Self-refer for wellbeing support
Our specialist team, including counsellors and mental health practitioners, provide you with free mental health or wellbeing support.

You can also attend our Wellbeing drop in service, which runs from Monday to Friday, 1.00pm to 3.30pm on our York Campus. To access the service, please ask at the Student Hub desk in Holgate.
London students can access our Wellbeing service via the self-referral form or through the London Wellness team.
Welfare Adviser appointments
Our Welfare Advisers can support you with experiences like assault, crime, pregnancy, domestic violence, and housing issues.
They offer appointments to support you with information, guidance, and signposting to helpful services.
Sexual Violence Liaison Officer appointments
Our Sexual Violence Liaison Officers (SVLOs) are highly qualified specialist members of staff who offer support to students who have experienced any form of sexual violence or misconduct.
Our SVLOs can work with you 1 to 1 to talk you through the options that are available to you, and the support you may want to receive. Support is available for students who have been impacted by sexual violence at any time in their lives. This can include experiences of sexual violence, harassment, abuse, misconduct, inappropriate behaviour, regardless of whether it has been officially reported.
Report and Support
Our Report and Support platform allows all students, staff, visitors to our campus, and members of the public to report something either anonymously or with contact details.
Spectrum Life
Spectrum.Life offers a free, confidential counselling and wellbeing support service to all students 24/7/365.
Student Hub
The Student Hub's online portal is a single point of contact for submitting enquiries, booking appointments, and accessing information and guidance.
