If you live or work in the North East, join us at Hash Bar and Kitchen, Darlington on Wednesday 12 November 2025 at 6.30pm for the YSJ North East Network.
Reconnect with alumni, learn more about your alumni benefits and enjoy some food and drinks.
We are excited to return welcome our alumni back to Darlington for our annual North East network event. Follow the blog link below for a list of every alum who’s bought a ticket so far. This list will be updated weekly.
Tickets
Tickets cost £5 and include:
- Event entry
- A keynote speech
- Information about your alumni benefits
- Food
- Two drinks tokens
When purchasing your ticket, please tell us about your dietary requirements.
You are welcome to bring a guest who didn't study at York St John. Please book them a separate ticket on our online store.
Bookings close on Sunday 26 November at 11.00pm.
If you have trouble using our online store, please email alumni@yorksj.ac.uk and we will do our best to assist you. You can also call 01904 876 741 between 10.00am and 4.00pm, Monday to Friday, and we will do our best to support you.
Please note that we are unable to accept payment over the phone, but are happy to discuss alternative options with you.
The money from your ticket will be donated to our alumni-funded scholarships. Our scholarship fund supports students underrepresented in Higher Education continue their studies with us. Find out more about alumni funded scholarships.
Itinerary

| 6.00pm | Event opens. Please join us from 6.00pm for registration. Enjoy meeting alumni and current staff. |
| 6.30pm | Welcome. The event will officially start at 6.30pm and will include an introduction from the Fundraising and Alumni team. |
| 6.45pm | Alumni: Time to talk (speaker TBC) |
| 7.30pm | Time to socialise. Take time to enjoy some light refreshments, food and chat to other alumni. This is a relaxed, informal event so take time to reconnect with your peers and meet other members of your alumni community. |
| 9.00pm | Event closes. |
Location
Hash Bar and Kitchen is located in Darlington town centre. There is no parking onsite due to the location of the venue in the town centre. Parking is available at Feethams Multi-Storey car park, 0.2 miles from the venue.
