Hospital and Medical Care Association (HMCA)

The York St John University Alumni team has agreed with the Hospital and Medical Care Association (HMCA) to offer discounted rates for medical plans, dental plan, hospital cash plans, travel plan, income protection and vehicle breakdown products.

An exclusive offer* to provide private medical plans for members of York St John Alumni Society has been arranged with HMCA, including a £50 gift card or £100 off your first-year subscription upon joining a private medical plan.

When you hire a university room through our Events team, you are entitled to a 15% alumni discount.

Our alumni can apply for membership of the university library for free. For more information on how to apply for membership visit our library pages. 

Postgraduate discount

York St John University alumni are eligible for a 10% reduction on their postgraduate course fees, regardless of when they graduated.

If you are continuing to postgraduate study directly after studying at undergraduate level with us, we offer a reduction in fees depending on the classification of degree you achieve. 

Scholarships for alumni 

The Dock

The Dock is a start-up coworking space located at York St John University London campus. Designed for productivity and collaboration, the Dock provides a host of resources and networks that members need to develop their business.

Alongside coworking spaces, members also have access to podcasting and content creation space, professional coaching, mail management services and a registered office space.

No matter when you graduated, you can get support from our Careers, Placements and Student Opportunities team at York St John University.

Transcripts and certificates

A transcript is a full academic record of a student's career. It includes module marks and grades attained at the University. York St John University presents degree certificates to graduating students during graduation ceremonies or posts them after those events. 

If you need a replacement transcript or certificate these can be purchased through our online store.

If your course was validated by the University of Leeds you will need to order a replacement certificate from the University of Leeds online store.
