Andrea Woodward

I received my BA (Hons) in English Literature from York St John University in 2009 and completed an MA in English Studies at Sheffield University. My MA dissertation focused on the resurgence of ‘socially accepted' misogyny in the public sphere through analysing the return of the Lone Male hero in post: 9/11 popular film. In 2021, I decided to return to York St John to pursue a PhD which is investigating loss of reproductive autonomy and coerced reproduction in horror and dystopian fiction.
