Dr Brighton Nyagadza

Lecturer, Digital Marketing

I am currently Digital Marketing Lecturer at York St John University London Campus. Before joining York St John, I spent five years of teaching, research, innovation, commercialisation, and industrialisation, and serving as Chairperson of the Department of Marketing at Marondera University of Agricultural Sciences and Technology (MUAST), Zimbabwe. My academic work appears in top reputable international journals such as Journal of Digital Media & Policy (Intellect), European Journal of Innovation Management (Emerald), Sustainable Technology & Entrepreneurship (Elsevier), Tourism Critiques: Practice & Theory (Emerald), Journal of Fashion Marketing & Management (Emerald), Journal of Entrepreneurship In Emerging Economies (Emerald), Journal of Environmental Media (Intellect), Quality Assurance in Education (Emerald), International Journal of Public Sector Management (Emerald), Youth & Society (SAGE), among others and managed to produce three Scopus indexed books published by CAB International (UK) and Routledge of the Taylor & Francis Group (UK). I am an Editorial Board Member of the Journal of Digital Media & Policy (JDMP), and The Retail and Marketing Review (RMR) among others. I have held External Examiner role for the University of the Witwatersrand (Wits) South Africa, Africa University (AU) Zimbabwe, Walter Sisulu University (WSU) South Africa, etc. I graduated with a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) Degree in Marketing at Midlands State University (MSU), Zimbabwe.
