Millie Raw Mackenzie

As Postgraduate Research School Manager (maternity cover), I oversee the programme of support offered to PGRs here at York St John University, working with a dedicated team of Postgraduate Officers to deliver the University’s renewed commitment to postgraduate research.

I have been a member of staff at YSJU since 2019, when I joined the team in the International Centre for Community Music (ICCM) to co-ordinate a four-year international research project. During that time, I also provided professional support to academic colleagues and Postgraduate Researchers undertaking a number of smaller research projects and events connected to the Centre. I am thrilled to now be working with colleagues in the Research Office, contributing to the development of postgraduate research across all academic schools at YSJU.
