Paula Clark

I am one of the Assistant Researchers and Theatre Practitioners with York St John University Prison Partnership Project's, On the Out initiative. With a strong focus on arts and social justice and feminist practice, I am concerned with levelling the playing field by making creative work that removes barriers, amplifies marginalised voices and brings communities and new audiences together.

I am a theatre practitioner and creative director based in the North of England. I have worked for 20 years producing theatre, co-creation and talent development projects for young people and adults in community, education, and theatre settings. Most recently with York Theatre Royal, Pilot Theatre, ARC Stockton and Plaines Plough.
